Terms of Reference

1.0		Purpose
1.1		The Faculty Development Advisory Working Group (FDAWG) will work together to advise the Assistant Dean on programs for faculty development initiatives at all four Calgary Hospitals.
1.2		The Faculty Development AWG will collaborate on creation of a faculty development seminar series in conjunction with local hospital rounds.
1.3		The Working Group members will support presentation/organization of faculty development programs at each site.
2.0		Responsibilities
2.1		Enhance teaching/educational skills of Faculty of Medicine Members.
2.2		Enhance professional/career development of Faculty of Medicine Members.
2.3		Members will be asked to present one or two seminars per year.
3.0		Meetings
3.1		There will be six meetings per year at the call of the Assistant Dean.
3.2		Members are asked to attend at least four of the six meetings.
4.0		Term
4.1		Term is for two years, beginning January of each year, renewable.
