Director of Communications and Media Relations stepping down

Jody MacPherson, Director of Communications and Media Relations is leaving the Faculty of Medicine to pursue other opportunities. Her last day will be Thursday, July 8, 2010.

Jody has been with the Faculty of Medicine since 2006 and in the role of Director since June of 2008. She and her team have built upon the Faculty's strong foundation in media relations to create a stable, well-rounded communications program, including a leadership role for the Faculty in web communications and social media.

She will be putting her communication skills to work in the municipal election campaign this fall and re-establishing her communications consulting business.

Communications is a critical function for the Faculty. We are conducting a search for Jody's replacement and we will update you when we have more information.
