Faculty members honoured by Killam Trust

Three medicine faculty members are being recognized by the Killam Trust organization for their outstanding leadership contributions.

The Killam Research Leader Award, awarded to Dr. Cy Frank, is presented to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to research, is an acknowledged international leader, and has earned distinction for themselves and for the university.  The Killam Interdisciplinary Research Prize has been awarded to Dr. Richard Frayne and colleagues in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development and leadership of interdisciplinary research collaborations. The Killam Award for Leadership in Teaching, awarded to Dr. Sylvain Coderre, recognizes outstanding contributions to leadership in university teaching.  Coderre is a professor in the Department of Medicine and a member of the Division of Gastroenterology.
