University of Calgary researchers have made an important discovery about how immune cells combat severe infections that can lead to the development of sepsis. Dr. Bryan Yipp, and Bjoern Petri, PhD, both members of the university’s Snyder Institute for Chronic Diseases, have recently been published in Nature Medicine for their work on NETs (neutrophil extracellular traps).
