Naweed Syed, PhD, professor and head of the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy, was recently honoured by the Pakistan-Canada Association (PCA) with an award of excellence for his outstanding contributions to biomedical research. The PCA recognizes individuals or groups who make exceptional contributions to society in the field of voluntary, educational and professional work.
