How do you Access the Faculty of Medicine Intranet?

Faculty and staff will use their Med Domain login and password; most Faculty of Medicine employees already have a Med Domain account. For those who do not, contact http://www.ucalgary.ca/hiitec/medrequest to obtain a Med Domain.

Med Domain credentials are required to access the following services:

• Faculty of Medicine Intranet - portal site for internal communications sharing of Faculty/Division information. You will be able to access this site at intranet.med.ucalgary.ca once you have a valid med domain account.
• Hydrogen Network File Storage – shared drives and home drives (personal).
• Desktop management – regular windows and virus updates; policy and permissions management (Windows PCs only).
• Exchange Service – Integrated Email and Calendar
• Secure Research Data Haven and Health Knowledge Hub Services
• Faculty of Medicine Academic Report Online

• Ensure you are entering your username in the correct format: med\john.smith
• First-time user? Login, register your account, update your profile and and use the self serve password utility to change your temporary password to something you will remember: https://selfserve.med.ucalgary.ca
