So we've all heard about Canada's Doctor Shortage. Bu is there really a doctor shortage? What do the numbers say? Is it because there are more female doctors than ever before? Is it because younger doctors want a better work-life balance?
And better yet, if there is a shortage... what are the CMA, AMA and Alberta Health Services planning to do about it?
The Calgary Medical Students' Association presents its 2nd Annual Medical Student Health Policy Symposium on Thursday, May 7th. It will answer these questions and more. Alberta Health and Wellness Minister Ron Liepert will be just one of our hard-hitting speakers.
