The next ACHRI Developmental Biology and Genetics Seminar speaker will be Luis Parada, PhD from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas.
Dr Parada's laboratory studies regulatory pathways that control vertebrate development, particularly the Trk and neurotrophin family genes. More recently, Dr Parada's laboratory has become interested in modeling human diseases, including autism, brain cancer, and Von Recklinghausen's Neurofibromatosis.
Dr Parada's seminar will be Wednesday April 4th 1:30pm in HSC Clara Christie.
