Research Services is organizing an information session on the CIHR Open Operating Grant March 2012 Competition. This information session will focus mainly on the application process and as such, the participation of researchers' support staff is highly encouraged.The focus of the workshop will be on the application process, including an introduction to ResearchNet and an overview of the internal University of Calgary review and approval process. It's aimed at administrative staff who assist faculty members in preparing grant applications.

This one-day course will be of interest to hospitalists, primary care and urgent care physicians who want to improve their choice of appropriate common diagnostic imaging procedures and their interpretation of diagnostic images and reports. In this course, diagnostic imaging topics covering different systems will be explored in depth and supplemented with the opportunity to participate in small-group, case reviews of various clinical presentations.
Science Cafés are informal evenings that provide scientists, researchers and the public a chance to discuss current issues in science in an informal pub and town hall atmosphere.
