MedShow 2010 is the 38th annual variety show that features talents (and effort acts) of University of Calgary medical students through dance, music, comedy, and video. Half the proceeds will go to "CUPS" (Calgary Urban Project Society, http://cupscalgary.com), and the other half will go towards graduation funds.

Course Objectives: a. To learn about new medications and new indications for "old" products. b. To examine current therapeutic controversies c. To compare drug and non drug approaches for selected clinical conditions. d. To reveiw the types of evidence used to support the prescribing of one drug instead of another in the same class of drugs.

Please join Joyce Maloney - Occupational Health Consultant from Staff Wellness who will be onsite to discuss the sick leave protocol for the Faculty of Medicine. If you supervise employees, we strongly encourage you to attend this one hour session. Joyce will outline what the expectations are at the university around reporting absences and Staff Wellness's role in working with the employee, supervisor & the employee's care providers in returning the employee back to work. No registration is required for this session.
