Please join us for Session #3 of the KT Canada National Seminar Series on Thursday, November 12th from 1400-1500 ET (1200-1300 MT), featuring Dr. Anne Sales from the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta. ***PLEASE NOTE ALTERED TIME FOR THIS SESSION 1400-1500 ET (1200-1300 MT)***. This session is entitled: "The influence of social networks on KT in long term care facilities" and will describe a current project that assesses social networks in two long term care facilities and their impact on an ongoing KT intervention, delivering feedback reports in these two facilities.

HEALING THE GAP: UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY MEDICAL STUDENTS HOST 1st ANNUAL “RICH MAN POOR MAN” EVENT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE CALGARY DROP-IN CENTRE STUDENT RUN MEDICAL CLINIC University of Calgary Medical Students will host a RICH MAN POOR MAN dinner on November 12, 2009 - an evening of food, entertainment, a silent auction and guest speaker Sam Kolias. All proceeds will benefit a new Student Run Medical Clinical at the Calgary Drop-In Centre.

The objectives of this program are to introduce and review clinical resources, discuss diagnoses and treatment options for pediatric and adult neurological problems seen in family physicians offices, and to provide a forum for the exchange of information and an opportunity for informal networks of physicians to develop.

United Way Book & Bake Sale will be held in the Health Sciences Atrium Monday November 16/2009 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. We will be accepting used books until Nov 13, please bring them to HSC G253 Donations of baking will greatly be appreciated Nov 16.
