Faculty of Medicine Alumnus of Distinction Award

This year, the Faculty of Medicine Alumni Affairs will be presenting the Alumnus of Distinction Award for Community involvement to a UofC medical graduate “in recognition of outstanding commitment to their community."

Do you know an extraordinary MD graduate that you would like recognized? Perhaps you are aware of one of our Alumni making substantial contributions to medical, health or broader community advocacy here or abroad. This award will acknowledge the time and energy our graduates dedicate to any types of community involvement including: medical or health related political endeavors, advocacy work, CMA/AMA leadership/committees/Representative Forum, or non-medical community advocacy.

We invite you to nominate a University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine graduate for this prestigious award. Nominations should be in the Alumni Affairs Office by June 15, 2012. The winner will be chosen by the members of the Alumni Affairs Committee and announced in September.
