UCalgary researcher featured on The Nature of Things

Dr. Jean AddingtonThe documentary “The Downside of High”, featuring Dr. Jean Addington from UCalgary’s Faculty of Medicine will be rebroadcast on the CBC's The Nature of Things on Sunday April 11 at 7 pm.

Dr. Addington, a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and a mental health researcher at the Hotchkiss Brain Institute, will be one of several experts featured.
 
The documentary interviews some of the world's top schizophrenia experts whose research shows that teenagers who start smoking marijuana before the age of sixteen are four times more likely to become schizophrenic.
